The O-Ring is the same on the bottom of the pump tube and the pump head, although with older rifles a slightly larger seal could definitely be used.
all videos show an o ring groove on gun part of tressue tube assenbly mine has noo grove
Interesting hope it works out I have one from 1978 have not yet cleaned it.
I have one question and that is once you get it to hold pressure, what velocities you are getting. Please state ammo used and nuber of pumps.
